Wiko Rainbow - repair / fix invalid IMEI error / bug - super easy

Did you also ran in that annoying "INVALID IMEI" thing while flashing? Okay. There are a lot of guides out there. And all of them (more or less) bring back the IMEI in some way. But for all what I know, it's gone anyway, the next time you install an OS. So why bothering to install Recoveries and such in the first place? This way shows you how to "fix the imei" without. All on your own risk.

First: Write down your IMEI's. They are located behind your battery. Just take it out and write them down and power your phone on.

You need a rooted phone. In case of CM 13 it's more easy. Just enable the root access from the developer settings. To enable the developer settings: Go to [SETTINGS] -> [ABOUT PHONE] and here scroll down to "[BUILD NUMBER]. Hit it 5-10 times until the phone says "You are now developer" or something like this. Now go back to [SETTINGS] -> [DEVELOPER OPTIONS]. Scroll down a bit and hit [[ROOT ACCESS]. Chose: [APPS AND ADB] (On your own risk!). DONE.

If you are on an other ROM, try the Rooting APP mentioned HERE or HERE.

For the IMEI Fix: Download "Chamelephone". Open it, and enter the IMEI's you wrote down. Apply them. Reboot. DONE. You are free to deinstall chamelephone after.

Cheers
