Wiko Rainbow KitKat 4.4.4 wanted. Why 4.4.2 kinda sucks and 4.2.2 is getting pretty old

A lot of people are waiting for a KitKat 4.4.4 ROM for the Wiko Rainbow. Why? Because 4.4.2 on the Wiko Rainbow is for Android, like what Windows ME / Vista was for Windows. Half-hearted and instable. On the other hand side 4.2.2 is getting old and a security risc. What's the problem and what to do against it? Anyway... Cyanogen on it's way! Read on...

Well I happily installed the latest Wiko stock 4.4.2 firmware. Installation was quite easy. I pretty fast realized, that my phone was heating up. No matter wether I used a custom Kernel or not. Also the battery stats became very instable. It happens that the phone is at 25 percent but would power off within a minute because the battery is empty. There are tutorials how to improve such behaviour on other phones and other firmwares. They didnt help me. Charging, Discharging, Resetting.... no matter what, the battery stayed inaccurate. Also I feel like the W-Lan and mobile connection got a bit more instable. Of course this is just my personal experience but there are other very similary statements out there as far as I can read.

Unfortunatly Jelly Bean is getting a serious security risc and with the crippled 4.4.2 left we all should pray for a official (or better a custom) KitKat 4.4.4 or even 5.x mod. The 4.4.4 is almost there. Working with issus. Read all about the Wiko Rainbow 4.4.4 Rom (Cyanogen) here.
